Jarvis Analytics vs Intake.Dental (2026): Dashboards vs Doing the Work
Disclosure: ai.dentist is published by the team behind Intake.Dental. Everything we say about Jarvis comes from its own site or published sources, checked on October 15, 2026, and linked below.
The short version
Jarvis Analytics tells you what’s happening in your practice. It pulls from your PMS into 50+ KPIs, multi-location scorecards and reports on unscheduled treatment, hygiene recall, A/R and the revenue cycle (jarvisanalytics.com).
Intake.Dental does the work those reports point at. When the dashboard says unscheduled treatment is up, recall is behind and A/R is aging, someone still has to call, book, verify and follow up. Our platform does that work: AI receptionist, forms, insurance verification, notes, claims, payments and recall, on top of your PMS.
They’re not really substitutes. The honest question is whether you need a better view of the problem or fewer people-hours spent fixing it.

Where Jarvis is stronger
- DSO-grade reporting. Multi-location rankings, top/bottom 20% scorecards and provider payroll reporting are what a group’s operations team wants, and Jarvis is built for it.
- Specialty coverage. It connects to specialty systems such as OMSVision, EndoVision, PBS Endo and PerioVision as well as Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental and Denticon (integrations).
Where one platform is stronger
- Acting on the numbers. A report that says 40 patients are overdue doesn’t call them. Our recall outreach and AI receptionist do.
- The front desk’s hours. Analytics doesn’t reduce the time spent on phones, forms and insurance; automation does.
- Published pricing. You know the cost before the demo.
Worth knowing
Henry Schein One, the company behind Dentrix, has owned 80% of Jarvis since May 2021 and said it would stay PMS-agnostic (Henry Schein).
Choose Jarvis if…
- You run a group and need multi-location KPIs, rankings and payroll reporting.
- Your team has the capacity to act on what the dashboards show.
Choose Intake.Dental if…
- You need the work done, not just measured: calls answered, insurance verified, recall booked, claims drafted.
- You want one system for the front office instead of a reporting layer plus the tools to act on it.
